India- Here we come

Next week, my fellow Business partner, Chris and I travel to India on our first Opportunity International experience.

Next week we hope to blog our movements and experiences back to you on a daily basis.

I am feeling multiple emotions this week. I am a little nervous, very excited but mainly proud to be going into an area of India that unfortunately represents to most people a sign of suppression.

I can honestly say that despite their condition, these real people are happy and can teach us all so much about life..I hope to substantiate this next week.

Itinerary

Chris and I leave Brisbane early on Sunday and fly via Singapore to Delhi. We transit to Lucknow on Monday and commence our time in the villages learning from entrepreneurs who make money and provide quality of life for other people from very little!

BTW 93% of these entrepreneurs are women....that is very cool. You see in a world that is real, where the ultimate goal is to feed and grow a community..Women excel..WoW!!!

Anyway, this week I hope to understand more facts and be able to tell more stories, that's what I like to do..Inform, Educate and hopefully Inspire others.

Why are we doing this

Most people that know 4impact staff, whether it be Gavin, Bev, Mellisa, Mark, Peter, Jean, Steve , Me, Chris, Tim, Shane, Erin, Joy, Di, Steve, Marcus, Andrew, Steve , John, Heidi, Rhiannon, Peter, Trevor, John R, Judy, Graham, Michelle S, Carissa, Michelle B, Abbey, John N, Geoff, Philip...know that we work to 'make a difference'

Opportunity International is a partner that helps us make a difference Globally. I like it, I love it, I am so proud of it. I believe that all 4impacters feel the same way. I am going to live it now..see you soon!!!
