September Fever is approaching!

As a change of direction for me this month and as I try and go public to be acknowledged as a leading expert in all things called sport, I thought I would write a quick article to predict the winners of both the NRL and AFL codes this year. Have a crack in life I always say!

I have been buoyed by my prediction at the start of the season that the Reds would win the Super 15 Rugby, I feel it is time to put my reputation(or lack of) on the line and have a crack at the trifecta.

AFL

It hurts, but I do not want to waste to much time with this one, Collingwood will win again and will win easily. I want to go on record that I do not barrack for the Pies, however credit where credit is due, it is their time.


NRL

Semi Finals will have the following teams involved:

Storm
Dragons
Sea Eagles
Tigers

The only team that can stop a Wayne Bennett fairytale will be the Storm, but only if the two teams meet in the Semi-final. If the Saints make the Grand Final they will go back to back.

Finally, 40 4impact team members went to the Broncos v Titans game on Friday night, whilst it was a soft win for the Broncos and the rain was falling the beer was still cold. We had an absolute blast and look forward to next years outing!
